After this last week of thrifting, I've put a moratorium on bowling bags. I'm not sure if Arizona was just a hot bed for bowling in the 70s, but I find a ton of bowling bags. Most of them I pass up. I buy them if they're uniquely shaped or if the colors are awesome. I currently have six bowling bags in stock. Six. But c'mon... check these beauties out! You wouldn't have passed them up either.
This is the hottest pink bowling bag I've ever seen. It's clean and chic and meant for a hella confident person who can work pink for all it's worth. The gold and white piping details work so well with the brass and white hardware. Classy.
So after finding this super femmed up version of the bowling bag, I found another at the same store which was totally masculine.
This might be the perfect bowling bag. With a little style and a little swagger, a guy could walk into a bowling alley feeling like the king of the bowling world.
And he'd have the crown to prove it! Thrifting is actually a lot like bowling. Sometimes I'm throwing all strikes, and other days are all gutter balls... but this week I think I had a few more strikes =) I hope everyone else's thrifting score card was full of wins too!
Sorry about the unannounced absence last week. W and I are escaping to beautiful Santa Barbara in a couple of weeks for a little vacation and I've been trying to take care of a billion little house projects before we head out. I'll probably be scarce this week as well, but I'll try to stay on top of the Vintage Hot or Not posts. *Spoiler Alert* I've got a few items that are really going to put everyone's love for owls to the test!! Also, last night I picked up the coolest piece of MCM furniture that I am so, so excited to share in a future post. For now, let's just say that I am in love (yes, with a piece of furniture, don't look at me like that! You've been there too!) and can't wait to shout it from the mountain tops.
Linking up with Apron Thrift Girl's Thrift Share Monday - Can't wait to check out everyone's exciting finds!
