Thrifty Thursdays Vintage Pyrex

Picked up this charming Pyrex cookie jar this week for a great price. I'm tempted to turn it into a mini-garden, but I think I'll actually use it for cookies! Now I need to find the matching cracker barrel =)

As you can see, it's not in perfect condition, but it's cute and old-timey and most importantly - it's vintage Pyrex!

Thanks for reading! I'm doing some new links ups this week. Check out Vintage Thingie Thursdays and Treasure Hunt Thursday for some cool vintage finds!

I'm so jazzed that my seahorses are doing so well in the latest Vintage Hot or Not! Keep the votes coming and if you've got a questionable find - send me a pic and I'll feature it on my blog!

  1. It is...PERFECTION. Simply all around perfection, in all of its tacky golden glory.

  7. Ohhhhhh!!!!!! We had these growing up as kids. I distinctly remember them on the counter behind the dishwasher, always filled with soft chocolate chip cookies - maybe that's a blog post to come: My mom's famous soft chocolate chip cookies (AKA cake cookies)...

You've spawned a plethora of memories and related emotions (and smells, oddly enough) from my childhood. Love it!
