Thrifty Weekend Finds

A weekend spent hitting auctions, garage sales and thrift shops turned up some great finds! One of my favorite picks this weekend is this great Colonial Bowling Bag. I absolutely love the color and the silvery trim.

I love vintage bags in all shapes and sizes. One of my favorites is, of course, American Tourister. This next bag seems to ooze 70s retro cool. From the trim to the hardware everything is done with such great style.

It wasn't all about the luggage this weekend! I found a few great kitchen picks! First up is a vintage Maynard Mixer - a little elbow grease maybe makes a cake taste better =d

Lastly, I found some great Pyrex this weekend. I'm kind of amazed at how much Pyrex I've been able to pick up lately. I gotta get it while the gettin' is good! Here's a sneak peek. Check back by Wednesday to see the full show!

Thanks for reading!

  4. It's really hard to find bowling ball bags in great condition. I guess the vinyl doesn't hold up well to all that weight. But I keep looking. Great finds!

  5. I have a similar bowling bag I use as a tote often, but it is not NEARLY as beautiful as that one! Congrats on the great finds.
